Y’all know I love a good contest! Kicking one off today will be the perfect way to begin celebrating my birthday.
Who: All BFF’s!
What: Create graphics relating to Of Fire and Lions to be shared on the three social media platforms I use: Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook. You will find quotes from the book to use in your graphics under the “files” tab of the BFF Facebook page.
Where: Upload your creations into the Of Fire and Lions Share Graphic album on the BFF Facebook page. Simply follow these steps:
- Click on the “photos” tab on the left-hand column.
- Select “Albums.”
- Choose the “Of Fire and Lions Share Graphic” album.
- Click the “Add Photos/Video” button in the top right corner.
- Choose your graphic file and click open.
- Next, post your graphics on your Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook accounts.
When: Contest runs from Monday, December 10th to midnight on Tuesday, December 18th.
Why: To share the excitement about the March 5th, 2019 release of Of Fire and Lions! Also to earn a chance to win these super fun socks! Each graphic uploaded to the album will earn you one entry into the contest. The winner will be announced in the BFF Newsletter on December 24th.
Helpful Hints: Canva is a great website to use to create graphics. You can easily upload your own jpg/png images or choose from 100’s on the site. Canva offers a paid plan with which you can resize your images for the different platforms, but the following preferred dimensions will be helpful if you don’t have that plan. Also, square images work well for everything!
- Facebook: 940px X 788px,
- Instagram: 1080px X 1080px,
- Pinterest: 735px X 1102px.
