  1. I believe when I read The Breakup Support Group by Cheyanne Young when it was an e-ARC, that the author had self-published it. I enjoyed it so much that I’m reading her next book in ARC form now to review.

  2. Oh I’ve read, and loved, numerous self-published novels! A few:
“Not Abandoned” and “Out of the Dark” by MacKenzie Morganthal (these are contemporary fiction, dealing with human-trafficking from a Biblical stand-point)
The Time of Grace Series, and “The House of Mercy” by Alicia Ruggieri (the series is historical fiction, set in the 30’s, and has an amazing faith-plot, and the other book is historical/medieval fiction with great Biblical principles too!)
“Resistance” by Jaye L. Knight (this is Christian fantasy fiction, but without the magic – so good!)

And I could name a few others, too 😀
    Thank you for this giveaway!!

  3. I am not sure if I have read a “self-published” book. I loved to read and have read many books –
there may have been one that was “self-published” but cannot recall a specific one right now.

  4. The thruth is that I haven’t read any self published novel….or at least I am not aware it is self published….

  5. I am not sure if I have read a self published book or not.
But one of my friends is writing his first book series and will be publishing in on the Amazon writers thing (can’t think of the name right now). Since I also love to write he let have the honor to proof read it and suggest slight changes. So I guess in a way I have.

  6. I read Dancing at Midnight by Rebecca Yelland. I don’t get emotional about books – this one left me feeling gut punched. Multiple times. I do recommend it.

  7. Self-published novels are some of my favorites. I like the storytelling that is not held back by the limits a publisher imposes. Tamara Leigh is one of my favorites.

  8. I don’t know if I have ever read a self-published novel…I read a lot so I may have, but I’m not sure…

  9. I have read many self published books from authors such as Lisa Bergren, Tamara Leigh and Kristen Heitzmann. I like that self published books via Kindle can be very affordable.

  10. Dr Richard Mabry has started writing self published books. All his medical/suspense fiction books are interesting.

  11. I honestly dont know if any of the books i have read where self published or not.
thank you for this give a way

  12. I probably have, but I’m not remembering any specific one. I know thee is one on my list 🙂 Besides this one 🙂
    Thanks for the chance!!

  13. I’m not sure if books I read are self-published or not most of the time. I believe that The Reckoning by MaryLu Tyndall was self-published.

  14. If I have read a self-published novel, I wasn’t aware of it at the time.
How do you find out if the book is self-published?
Thanks for entering me in your giveaway.

  15. I am sure I have as much as I read and review for different authors but to know which ones are self-published I don’t know. I have read many books by Kristen Heitzman. I saw where someone mentioned her.

  16. I’ve recently read Lisa T. Bergren’s River of Time series which I believe is/was self-published. I really enjoyed the series because of the plot, time period, and suspense.

  17. Would enjoy winning and reading this book. I’ve read a few biblical fiction books and they were all good.

  18. Post
    Author

You’ve got some great suggestions here for indie authors (self-pubbed). I think that’s the trick. Find an author you like, and read all their stuff!

If you don’t know how to tell if it’s self-published/indie-published or not, you can look down in the “Product Details” section on the Amazon listing under “Publisher.” Nowadays, it’s still hard to tell because even individuals put in a “company” name for themselves. If you’re really on the hunt, you can Google the publisher listed there to see if it comes up with a “real” publisher or just an individual. 😉

The main thing is…do you like that author’s book?!?!?! If you do–YAY!!! Keep reading, leave a fabulous review, and buy another. If not… 🙁

  19. I’m just learning of self-published authors. I would love to support your work. I love reading especially christian and bibliacal characters brought to life. I hope to enter publishing myself.

  20. I would love to read and support self – published authors. I learn so much when I entered the scavengers hunt contest in March. It’s been a whole new world of reading for me.

  21. I have never read one of these books that I’m aware of. I am not sure how I would even know. I didn’t know they existed. You are always teaching me new things !

  22. I have read self published novels, but at the moment I can’t think of which ones as I read so many books.
