Welcome to my monthly FictionFix! As you may know, I generally publish one full-length biblical novel a year. Though I’m busy editing a current novel or writing new content for blog posts and newsletters, my fiction-writing soul gets a little antsy to write a new story.
Patreon monthly emails are the answer and supply my “FictionFix.” In these 4k+ “short” stories, I get to dig a little deeper into research about biblical characters from mainly Old Testament, but I occasionally venture into the New Testament!
It’s so fun to imagine the peripheral people in biblical characters’ lives and consider the broader world around the events we see in Scripture. In my FictionFix stories, you might even get reacquainted with a familiar character from one of my books.
I’ve also discovered that I LOVE writing a series of stories–called serial fiction–that I send to you in “episodes.” Cliff-hangers that keep you wanting more next month (like the 2021 intro series, David’s Wives).
